ROTS Trucking & Towing is a family-owned freight carrier and towing service based in Weaverville, CA. We've been hauling loads and clearing roads across Trinity County since March 2019 — and we're not going anywhere.
Richard H. Rotbergs —Owner & Operator
Richard founded ROTS in March 2019 with a straightforward idea: Trinity County businesses deserve a freight carrier who actually knows the territory. Highway 299 in January. The switchbacks on Highway 3. The narrow access roads into Hayfork and Coffee Creek. These aren't challenges for us — they're our daily commute.
We run four owned trucks out of 70 Washington Street in Weaverville, with four full-time drivers who know every mile of our service territory. No subcontractors. No surprises. Just reliable freight from people who have skin in the game.
In 2021 we added ROTS Towing & Recovery — because the same people who depend on us for freight also need someone they can call at 2 a.m. when their truck breaks down on a mountain road. We answer that call too.

Four Principles. Zero Compromise.
Local First
We live in Weaverville. We shop here, our kids go to school here, and we care about this community the way only neighbors can. Every delivery we make is an investment in Trinity County.
No Excuses
FMCSA-certified, fully insured, authorized for both intrastate and interstate freight. When we say we'll be there, we mean it — regardless of weather, road conditions, or time of day.
Right-Sized Fleet
Four owned trucks means we're not farming out your load to a subcontractor. Every driver on the road works for ROTS. That's how we maintain the standard our customers expect.
Family Business
Richard started ROTS because Trinity County needed a carrier who actually knew the roads. Seven years later, that's still the whole point — and the whole team.
